On November 21, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting our Semi-Annual Alumni Dinner at Purple Orchid Seafood Cuisine (紫蘭軒), Richmond Hill. Attended by approximately 40 enthusiastic alumni and esteemed teachers, the evening was a resounding success, filled with laughter, memories, and the spirit of camaraderie. Event Highlights:

• Welcoming address: A warm welcome to teachers and fellow alumni was given by Alumni Association President, Mr. Grant Chow.  He thanked Association executives for their collaborative efforts to make the dinner possible.
• Sponsor: Special thanks were given to Mr. Sunny Ho, our legal advisor, for sponsoring the red wines for the night.
• Financial Report: The Association’s finances are healthy. We plan to collect annual membership fee again in Spring 2025 dinner gathering.
• Dinner and Networking: A splendid dinner was served, providing ample opportunity for networking and catching up with old friends.
• Closing Remarks: The evening concluded with heartfelt closing remarks, expressing gratitude for the continued support and engagement of our alumni.

Announcements:

1. New Principal: We are excited to learn the news that a new secondary section principal, Mr. T. O. Ho (何泰安先生), has been hired to replace the retired principal, Mr. L. Yeung (楊世德先生). Mr. Ho will introduce artificial intelligence into teaching preparation for English classes for Form 5 students.
2. Activities offered by alumni: Association Vice-president, Mr. Billy Yip, has engaged in pickleball coaching, from recreational to competitive levels . He welcomes all to reach out to him for more information. Also, Mr. Anthony Kwok reports that regular table tennis meets are still happening for alumni who might be interested to drop in.

The evening served as a reminder of the strong bonds forged at our alma mater, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to all who attended and made it possible. Your presence and support are invaluable to RAA (Toronto). We look forward to meeting you again next year!
