HKJSAA New Year Celebration 2012

The Hong Kong Joint Schools Alumni Association (HKJSAA), which was established last year after the 25th anniversary of the Joint Schools Valentine Ball, will be hosting a celebration of the Chinese New Year on Sunday, February 5, 2012. Multiple activities have been planned:

Dinner
Time:	6:00PM–10:00PM (reception starts 5:30 PM)

Fee:	$30.00; free for children 5 years old and under
Seating:	200

R.I.P., Mr. Morales.

The venerable Mr. A. C. Morales, under whose supervision most of us grew up while at the College, passed away (official press release) at Ruttonjee Hospital on September 1, 2011, at about 5:50pm. Former disciplinarian Mr. C. C. Mak was among those who went to say goodbye, and reported that the late principal had left this world peacefully.

September 5 update:

Visitation for Mr. Morales will be held at Hong Kong Funeral Home (1/F) in the evening of September 15, with mass starting at 8:00pm. The funeral service will proceed the next day, followed by cremation at Cape Collinson Crematorium at 2:00pm. We are going to be sending flowers on behalf of the alumni in Ontario.
