A 2018 walk through the neighborhood

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Raimondi College, I completed this video to show how the school today is packed together with 70-storey skyscrapers. 60 years ago, RC was probably unique at the time for its 14-level high building, standing tall alone in the Mid-level area, with a splendid panoramic view of the harbour. This video is especially dedicated to those senior classmates overseas, who may have left Hong Kong in the 70’s and 80’s, when there were scarcely any skyscraper in the Mid-level area. Highlights from RC 60th Anniversary Banquet (Hong Kong)

The Raimondi College 60th Anniversary Banquet was held on March 24, 2018, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Over 1200 teachers and alumni had returned, from every corner of the world, to witness and celebrate the historic occasion. Throughout the night, luminaries gave speeches praising the accomplishments of the school and its alumni, while students old and new provided entertaining performances. Many old friends who had not met in decades enjoyed reunions, and many selfies were taken. We present a video highlight of the night, courtesy of RAA HK, so that our membership in Toronto can share in the joy.
